A new exhibition-centre environment at the National Memorial Arboretum brought technology, audiovisual equipment and several specialist trades into one wider programme. The principal contractor needed the technology work coordinated, installed, tested and evidenced for external audit.
Technology within a wider build
The visitor experience depended on several technical and audiovisual elements arriving in the right sequence. DPM Systems Ltd had to keep its installation work aligned with the principal contractor and other trades, while maintaining the records needed for testing, quality assurance and external audit.
Coordinating installation and trades
DPM Systems Ltd coordinated the technology workstream on behalf of the principal contractor during 2016–2017. Its confirmed role covered technology project management, installation of IT and audiovisual equipment, coordination with other trades, testing, quality assurance and support for external audit. The work kept the technical delivery connected to the wider programme.
Tested, audited and on programme
The technology workstream was completed within the agreed programme and passed the required testing and external audit. The principal contractor also gave positive feedback, confirming that DPM Systems Ltd had kept the technical delivery connected to the wider exhibition programme through to completion.
