Starting point

Protect kiosk production from component disruption.

KT Group builds self-service kiosks for customers with different technical needs. Each production run depended on receiving the right compatible components, in the right quantity and on time. One unsuitable substitution could affect the hardware build, software image or promised delivery date.

01

When one part can stop a build

For a kiosk manufacturer, consistency is a production requirement—not a purchasing preference. Every unit in a batch had to work with the agreed hardware configuration and software image. A shortage, specification change or early end-of-life notice could stop assembly or create costly differences between machines. KT Group needed someone who understood the whole kit, not a series of disconnected part numbers.

02

Supplying the complete kit

BNR treated the requirement as a production supply programme, not a succession of isolated component orders. The team sourced processors, motherboards, memory and storage as complete kits, held stock against continuing demand and tested suitable replacements when a product was discontinued. On a number of occasions, BNR also assembled large batches of finished PCs from those approved components.

03

Fifteen years of repeat orders

Since 2010, BNR has supplied tens of thousands of component kits and built hundreds of complete PCs for KT Group. The continuing relationship has given KT Group steadier availability, consistent specifications, quicker access to approved alternatives and less supplier-management work.
